OUR MISSION
INEMEA / אינמ"א (Israeli / International New Media Art) is a non-profit Association in the field of Art, Culture and Education, bringing together Israeli and International artists, scientists, thinkers and technologists.
Through interdisciplinary dialogue and opportunities for community building, INEMEA encourages contributions to the cultural environment of Israel as well as international relations and contacts with the organizations sharing a similar mission.
INEMEA mission is:
– providing technical support, administration and comprehensive assistance in creating and – organizing joint projects of artists and scientists on the basis of IT technologies, scientific research and new media art;
– support to Israeli artists in the creation and presentation of their works by means of new media;
– organization and implementation of joint projects created on the basis of cooperation between artists and scientists (Art & Science).

Our artistic and scientific activity is already supported by one of the most authoritative platforms both among scientists and artists – ISAST Leonardo/Laser Talks. Receiving the prestigious international status of ISAST Leonardo/Laser Talks Jerusalem https://leonardo.info by the INEMEA association in 2024 is a recognition of the high professional level of our team. The platform allows us to reach a wide audience of artists and scientists in Israel, and as a result to connect different sectors of Israeli society: from students, those looking for inspiration, to stars of art and science. This activity will turn the "Jerusalem Laser Conversations" into a free and independent and powerful platform as an expression of the ideas and views of artists, researchers and thought leaders in Israel. The platform will help transfer this information and knowledge to a wide international audience. We consider this task to be of great importance for the unification between the residents of the country and abroad in order to raise the image of our country.
It's put together by the Jerusalem INEMEA Art & Science Lab and CYLAND Media Art Lab. We thank Laser CYLAND and ADEM Lab for their help and partnership in organizing our Laser Talks.
OUR PROJECTS
In today's world, each of us holds a smartphone in our hands — a portal through which we connect to reality. We offer an actuale exhibition format where there is nothing tangible — no physical representations or references, except for the doors, the keys to which lie in your hands. Just scan the QR code with your smartphone, and the door will open. Behind each of these doors is a piece of art created by new media artists.
As Quentin Meillassoux once said, "Сonsequently manifestation is not the givenness of a world, but rather an intra-worldly occurrence."
As nomad artists, we have always suspected that, beyond the visible horizon, lie others, shining through reflections, or in an imaginary sense. These themes are manifested in our artworks, especially during this eventful historical period, and they capture both bitter experiences and bright hopes.
The notion of "the horizon rising beyond the horizon" resonates strongly with us, highlighting the continual expansion of horizons and the discovery of new possibilities.

Since the 80s philosophers describe the modern world as a multitude which cannot be integrated, the multitude, which evades any attempt to impose any unified principle of life and language of description. Global theories are failing. Today everyone is looking for their place in the world and the explanation of it for themselves.

Nomadism is a concept that reflects nomad's lifestyle of choosing to move to survive or enjoy a better life. While emerging as a framework for analyzing modern society that has achieved digitalization, it has a profound influence on the expression and form of contemporary art, and artists' work activities.
WE INITIATE the creation of an Internet platform (communities, laboratories, galleries, associations of artists Art & Science), which will become the leader, moderator and initiator of the "field" of communication based on art.
Regular public popular lectures as part of the courses on the topic of culture, art and science, for different age groups, for the purpose of education. It is planned to invite lecturers from various universities, including new repatriates.

IDEAS, TRENDS AND OBJECTIVES
Modern civilization is painfully looking for an answer to the question of where scientific and technological progress is leading us. Revolutionary breakthroughs in information and biotechnologies for the first time confront us with challenges that humanity has never had to deal with. This uncertainty inevitably causes in people a feeling of confusion, fear of "dehumanization" and impending disaster. Is a person able to understand the world that he himself created?
We are doing our part to enter the future on the principles of accepting it and overcoming fear in the face of artificial reality.
Art deals with consciousness, involving the mental, sensual, intuitive and emotional spheres of a person.
Artists are able to foresee and create the future by creating an environment of open dialogue in the language of art.
We believe that humanity can overcome difficulties if people learn to accept the new reality they have created.
